Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. Her early years were shaped by Boleros, classical music and the classic romantic, ranchero, as well as romantic ballads. Ana is an avid fan of Tangos. Also, she loves operas and any form dramatic performance. Ana began to learn how to sing and play music from an early age, along with her mother. The formal vocal training at the age of 16 old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Her musical education continued through the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In her early career, she was spent performing with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She is currently performing the traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. As a teacher and musician Ana is a dedicated participant in many projects in the community due to her enthusiasm and enthusiasm for music. Ana has also been a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as well as the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to be able to share with others her passion for the tradition of Latin American music. She hopes to encourage younger generations to preserve the traditions.
