Rosalia
Rosalia Vila aka Rosalia is the Spanish flamenco and pop singer. When she was a teenager she sang in both the traditional and popular music. But, her music interests have widened to include hip-hop and soul. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitar and renowned musician has described the voice of the young singer as sassy and sweet but with bite. El Mal Querer is her second album, made available in 2018, which was critically and commercially successful. Following Los Angeles, her debut album, released in 2017, got an award from the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and also an Latin Grammy nod. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami came out as her third album that was full-length. It included collaborations with fellow musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. The album came out in 2022 because of a Saturday Night Live appearance by the singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish artist to perform on her own in the show. Motomami was the sole female in history to be the recipient of the Latin Album of the Year two times and also three Latin Grammy Awards.
